| It is incorrect, based on the wording of the teaser. It is possible to make three identical squares by moving only two toothpicks, though your method is the only one (that I can see, anyway) that would leave no extras.
I assume that is what you meant. |

The teaser should have been worded in a way such that be no unfinished boxes should be remaining.
No opportunity to submit a correction for this teaser either.

| Agreed. I thought two picks moved to either side would suffice. Maybe an amendment needed: "make 3 squares using all the matches". good one though. |
