What Am I?
Trick brain teasers appear difficult at first, but they have a trick that makes them really easy.
I am more microscopic than microscopic; I am more minuscule than minuscule.
I am smaller than small and I am tinier than tiny.
Yet surprisingly, I am still big. What am I?
HintDon't be too small-minded!

Answer
The word "big". It only has 3 letters and is therefore shorter in length than the words "tiny", "small", "minuscule", and "microscopic".

| @ iam1ru12, somehow I don't think you looked at the answer. The word big only has 3 letters and is therefore more minuscule (i.e. smaller) than the word "minuscule" which is 9 letters long. Understand? |

| Lui, love,
"mile" is not the longest word in the dictionary. Some say "smiles" is because "it's a mile between the 's'es." however, if you're going for words of length, the dictionary also includes "light-year" and "parsec" (a "parsec"is slightly more than 3 1/4 light-years) |

| I thought of AIR. It's microscopic but you actually see Oxygens, Nitrogen, Hydrogens, etc. (not air), yet it's big enough to surround us? |

| I thought it was the word I because it is shorter than all of those small synonyms and it is still big because when you see it for the most part it is capitol. |

| While I get the riddle, the use of the word 'microscopic' is very misleading and actually makes the answer wrong. Microscopic means that it is so small that it cannot be seen with the naked eye - i.e., it can only be seen with a microscope. Clearly, you can read the word 'big' without the use of a microscope. Other than that, though, it would have been a good one. Cheers. |

| Ok that was an easy almost obvious answer, but the clues are wrong.
Microscopic means "too small to be seen by the naked idea (requiring a microscopic be seen) neither word is "microscopic", so big is not more microscopic than microscopic - they are equally microscopic.
SHorter than short could have been used instead. |
