An Injured Child
Logic puzzles require you to think. You will have to be logical in your reasoning.
A child is injured in an accident and is rushed to the hospital. The doctor takes one look at the child and says: "I can't treat him, that's my son." The doctor is not the child's father. How do you explain this?
HintHow many parents do you have?

| Oh my god...... that is so bad!!!! My mom told this one to me, because she heard it when she was a kid, and so on. This one may have worked back in the seventies when my grandmother worked as a nurse, but nowadays, I'm ashamed if somebody doesn't get this one!! |

| I actually got this wrong the first time I heard it. I was thinking of this correct answer, but thought it was way too obvious to be right. |

| I have heard that the doctor in this teaser is actually supposed to be a surgeon. It's supposed to throw people off because surgeons are typically men. |

| Why can't the woman operate on her son?
If you want a job done right, you have to do it yourself! |

| A more common version of this says that the father and son were both in the accident and taken to the hospital. I don't understand how anyone could get this wrong...it is very simple unless you overthink things. But still, it should be easy for anyone. My five-year-old sister could figure it out.
Unraveled...I think it used to be against the law or something...maybe it still is...I'm not really sure. But, I agree...If you want something done right you usually do have to do it yourself! |

| We ought to have a section of oldies or for children. I also heard it the first time with the son and dad in the wreck. I hate to bother looking at the answers in ones like these, but would never comment without double checking. Very old, very common. |

| I have heard that teaser many times. The hint was really weird, and I think didn't need one. My suggestion is to make up your own teaser in order to avoid repeats |
