You are a topnotch professor at Harvard University. People all over the world know your name and would be delighted to possess only a fraction of your intelligence. However, today, on a casual weekend at your house, you are extremely befuddled.

Your dilemma is that you are unable to locate your television remote. After performing a quick search of your family room and realizing, because of your great intelligence, that it isn't there, you decide to write out what rooms you were recently in and where the remote might accidentally have been left. Here are your journal entries:

Yesterday 14:31-
Went to master bedroom to retrieve student essays. Remote may have been taken along accidentally. If in master bedroom, probably kept inside southeast drawer of desk.

Today 5:21-
Woke up late today. After brushing, went downstairs and saw that daughter, Joanne, had already turned on TV. May have taken remote later on to kitchen when in process of preparing breakfast.

Today 11:12-
After being nagged by wife about not doing laundry (NOTE TO SELF: build robot to end wife's pestering for one that will do chores), took hamper to the laundry room. It is possible that the remote accidentally dropped inside the washing machine or dryer.
