4, 4, 2, 5, 5, 5, 8, 8...
In Cryptography teasers, a phrase or expressions has been encoded in some way (frequently by replacing letters with other letters). You need to figure out the encoding method and then decode the message to find the answer.
This is a quote by a very famous person. Can you decipher it? I won't include capitals in the cipher.
"oltsitemsienevfruodngania."
-ebjnmanirfnalkni
HintThe title is a clue, and the last three letters in the quote are different.

Answer
To decipher: put a space after every 2 letters. Except for the last three letters. Leave them be: olts - ol ts. nia - nia. Then, switch the two (or three) letters around: ol ts - lo st. Nia - ain. Repeat for the next letters: lo st ti me is ne ve rf ou nd ag ain. Put them together, minus spaces: losttimeisneverfoundagain. Then, look at the title: 4, 4, 2, 5, 5, 5, 8, 8... they represent letters before a space: lost time is never found again. Use this rule (this time, all letters are the same) for the last part.
It now should read:
Lost time is never found again.
-Benjamin Franklin.

The answer was more confusing than the teaser. I glanced at the name and immediately deciphered Benjamin Franklin Then had a reference point for a well known quote.

Title is in no way a hint. However it's pretty easy to just unscramble the quote.

Very Easy. The type of cypher used is called a transposition cypher. As explanation for those who don't understand the quote: Lost time, like lost money, is never found again.

That was very simple! when I saw that the quote was from Ben F., I just figured out the order from how I had to flip his name correctly. Good one and great quote!

Me again. Apologize for hogging 2 entries. the quote used by Ben was not a well known one. In retrospect, maybe I was overly harsh, in one aspect. FoF a trained cryptographer or a "Ben-ophile_. This was probably GREAT. For the rest of us, it was a "no chance" Many years ago I studied and taught American history, and was unable to retain this B. Franklin quote if I did ever hear it..
