Mallory Garett and Gabrielle Poke are sisters. They have the same mom and the same dad. Neither of them are adopted or married. Why are their last names different?
Answer
Mallory was born before her mom and dad were married, so she has her mom's maiden name. Gabrielle was born when they were married, so she took her dad's last name.

NUMBER 10, GOOD ON YOU. In Mexico sometimes the child takes the mother's family name. In other cultures, naming is based on birth order. A good teaser.  |
