| I don't know if I should know all these, or if these are American spellings or versions, but several of these I just do not know, and some are not spelled as I would spell them.
The dog name that simply flabbergasts me is the spelling of German Shepherd, which for some unaccountable reason is spelt Shepard! THIS IS NOT HOW TO SPELL SHEPHERD!!! Any explanation would be appreciated |

| I'm a little confused... did the teaser change? I simply cannot understand the previous comments. There is no German Shepherd anywhere in this teaser (?!), and I thought that it was quite an interesting teaser. I especially liked how you didn't just have to find the missing letters, but there was a second part to figure out what didn't belong in the list.
Did I get it? No... I'm not a horse fanatic. But I enjoyed learning something new and looked up every breed on the internet so I could see what they looked like and find out something about them. It's not dumb just because you can't get it. |

| I agree with the dumbness comment. Carrots and steak? Can't see the link at all. If the title actually related to the puzzle I might have had a chance, but I was trying to come up with food related things and ended up miles away. |

| I'll try not to be too negative. It was a very difficult problem - and well done; EXCEPT what the heck does the word STEAK have to do with horses? That hint threw me off completely. |

| I know guys, and Im sorry. I agree that it is a horrible title. I just couldnt think of one that wouldnt give the puzzle away. The only link between the two is that horses like carrots and dogs like steak. I told the eds to change it if they could come up with a better one but I guess they didnt. Once again I apologize and I will work harder on my titles from now on. |

| As far as titles... meh. I might do something like "Carrot on a Stick" that would refer to a fable about the farmer and the mule (not technically the same, but could get someone on the right track). Or "Carrots & Sugar Cubes" (common horse treats). I'm not sure referring to the dog breed in the title is absolutely necessary. |

| Tough teaser. I got the first one, but the title made me think of race horse names (stakes), and I didn't get the others. I was even thinking of names of Western ranches, but don't know enough about horses. Fun to try though. |
