Cupid? Ulysses??
These brain teasers rely on your ability to recognize groups of common attributes. For each of these puzzles you'll need to figure out why the words or letters are grouped as they are. Sometimes you will be asked to pick the odd-one-out or to place a new word into the correct group.
Put 2 of Group B into Group A:
A:
Coelus
Aphrodite
Cronus
Poseidon
Hades
Zeus
B:
Hermes
Persephone
Hercules
Ares
Cupid
Ulysses
Answer
Hermes and Ares would both fit into Group A because they are both the opposite mythological name of a planet.
Coelus- Uranus
Aphrodite- Venus
Cronus- Saturn
Poseidon- Neptune
Hades- Pluto
Zeus- Jupiter
Ares- Mars
Hermes- Mercury

| Another one I got for the wrong reason... I just knew the two names were Greek and not Roman, whereas the others in list B were all Roman translations. |

| Got this one after a couple of blind alleys. Had to look up Coelus to make sure, but I was pretty certain from the others. Good one. |
