guddy gud..!!
No apostrophe after the q, but otherwise good. I got half of it but messed up the second word, thinking that it should be 5 or 6 words in total. Had "No ten to queue for it." or "Nothin' to queue for it." I knew they weren't right, but couldn't quite twist my head the right way.
Ooooh... tough one. Great job!
well, there is no excuse for me not getting that teaser, exceot for the part that it was tricky
and hard

EEAZZZYY
Thought this was quite simple!
I goe it immediately. Must be it was easy. I liked it.
Thought it was tricky and tough for a lazy Sunday morning, but maybe I just needed a third cup of coffee.
i like these rebuses (rebusi) ? the more you do the better you get...
this one ,---- you needed to know your roman numerals.
good one keep em coming

good one keep em coming
I need a first cup of coffee. It was a very good rebus or what ever you call it. I got part of it right, but that's like eating a sundae without the cherry on top. Thanks for the post. I enjoyed it muchly.

Must be hitting on all cell s this morning. I just read it out Loved getting a rebus
I got it! And it was a good one!

enjoyed it. good job.
Lol, I got no ex-"something" for it! If only I had thought a little harder!
I should have read the name of the teaser! I thought it was " too cute" a puzzle.
Got the xqq and the rest of it fell into place.I am a rebus freak and Braingle's go a "millinon" of em!
That is so cool
That is really good! I love the roman numeral part.
maybe its just me, but i thought it was tricky!
i couldnt have been more clueless on this one but tthen rebuses and me dont usually gel :-(
There really are things I am good at--but rebuses are not among them!!
So close but I couldn't quite put this one together. Excellent teaser!
Oh my! I see I already pondered this teaser a year ago and couldn't solve it then either! I don't even remember it. I must be losing my mind!
i got 'no excuses...' didnt get the second part. you clever sausages that can figure this one out...
Here's and alternate solution:
NO= No
XQQ= xqs (excuse)
IV=I've
IT= done it (it is at the end, or done)
NO= No
XQQ= xqs (excuse)
IV=I've
IT= done it (it is at the end, or done)
Clever
Seems to be more like a code than a Rebus, but still very good

That was awesome. Very difficult.
That took like 5 seconds!!!
I'm not sure I want to be a clever sausage. I don't like sausage, but I'll take that as a compliment! Solved it easily; my cup of tea! Like reading license plates.
Nice and easy
Fun and easy! Thanks for posting!
The title gave it away for me. Nice work, though.
Didn't know it. Thanks for posting.
That was a really very easy one. I uaually like easy, but this was too easy to be fun. Sorry, but thanks anyhow for posting. I can't even post so I should not complain. If it wasn't for all of you, I would not have any fun at all.
THE TITLE MADE THIS FAIRLY EASY
I agree with Babe and Cutebug - a tad too easy.
Yes! under 30 sec.
I really, really need to read the titles! Tried a few different way that didn't work Enjoyed the solution, though!
Excellent Rebus-Teaser example to illustrate a couple problems with Braingle vis-Ã -vis Rebuses.
Note the comments above that seem to mark the dichotomy between "too easy" and "too hard".
"Easy" for those viewers who are able to make the "intuitive leap" from what is seen on the page to the eventual answer.
"Difficult" - maybe even impossible - for those viewers who are NOT able to perform this "lateral thinking" trick to solve the puzzle.
Same (apparently) with too many Braingle editors.
We (the BunnyBunch) get many rebus submittals rejected with editorial comments like ....
"body does not lead to conclusion"
or ....
"too much of a stretch to get to the answer"
Of course they don't. If the body "led" to the conclusion instead of "suggesting" it, then you wouldn't have a "rebus" puzzle.
If there were no "stretch" of the imagination, then there is no Rebus.
You might have some OTHER kind of word puzzle, but it wouldn't be a Rebus.
I wonder how many Editors reject otherwise legitimate Rebuses because they are unable to make the "intuitive"/"creative" leap to the answer.
Just speculating. CAREFUL, everyone (especially Editors) ... this is no indictment.
The BunnyBunch
STILL laughing ....

intuitive leap met here; quite easy
After more than a month away, I was disappointed, but not surprised to come back to a 10 year old puzzle.
I was hoping the editors would have heeded the suggestions of so many that they use some of the newly submitted puzzles instead o recycling the same old teasers on the same date year after year.

Ezi Pzi !
