It happened in midtown Manhattan during the July 4th celebration; Sam walked several kilometres from West 32nd Street all the way to West 63rd Street without seeing anyone or being seen by anyone. It was a clear sunny day and he could see where he was going. He did not use any disguise or unusual method of transportation. Even though Manhattan was swarming with people not one person saw him. How could this be possible?
Answer
He was walking through the city sewer system.Hide Answer Show Answer

you dont call the sewer an unusual form of transporation??? Especially a NY sewer!
He was walking, that was his mode of transport. It didn't say where he was walking wasn't unusual
i have to agree with dumbell
Man, that would be awful. I hope he had a mask!
My first impression led me to believe it was nighttime... it said that it WAS a clear sunny day, not that it was clear and sunny when he was doing the walking. But i guess that logic falls down in some places, and I got the given answer eventually. Good teaser!
I thought sewer originaly, then you said he wasn't using unusual transport, so I guessed it'd be something else.
But I was right all along

Nice Teaser, well done. Fun and a bit hard.
I'm sorry, but I think this teaser is a cheat. I would consider walking through the sewer an unusual form of transportation.
