Burglar?
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
The man knocked on the door of David's house, and had a brief chat with him. Then he went upstairs and took many valuable things. However, he was not a robber.
David had never seen the man before in his life but he let him take his possessions without stopping him.
Can you explain this strange occurrence?

Answer
It was the repo man. David had not paid for the items on his credit card so the repo man had to take them away.Hide Answer Show Answer

YAY! First to comment!! Good teaser! I got it, but it was fun!! Nice job.
There are other possible answers as well:
*Man was attending David's estate sale and buying items
*Man was hired by David as a mover
*Man was hired by David to take and auction items
*Man was David's ex-wife's new husband who came to pick up her "half" of their stuff
I believe a good teaser should have just one clear possible answer. Sorry, but I didn't care for this one.

It was a great one but I think the last person is in error. There can't be more then 2 answers because it said he took the items not buy them. It also said he never met him and he probably would have known that the man was his ex-wifes new husband. Soyou see what goes around comes around.
good one my bro always jokes about the repo man
I usta be a repo man. I was not a very nice person in a former life. Usually, though, stuff bought on a credit card is not repo'd as it's unsecured.
Repo'd stuff is usually mortgaged or leased. Good job, nonetheless.

The man COULD have been a detective with a warrant, collecting stolen goods or other evidence. Or an attorney taking items belonging to David's parents which D. was holding for safekeeping but had been willed to others. Too many possible,I agree.
I agree with the others and have one to add. The man could have been a seller and came to appraise the items. Well done nevertheless.
Interesting, I didn't think of the repo man!
R u serious? I would have neva thought it was a repo man, I thought it was a mover.
Got that one nice work
If anyone with negative comments would just read at the top what a situation teaser really is, there would be no reason to post such things. I personally liked it, though all the answers I thought of were wrong!
Ditto Scallio!
