Really a nice little teaser. One can also find traces of Greek in so many the native languages of our Braingle members.

Ha! I thought it was "Every thing I say falls on deaf ears." Oh well, it was fun and a good one to boot!
I thought Spanish and came up with "Something lost in the translation."
I know a few words in other languages, but the only Greek I know are the names of foods. OPA!

Excellent. The English language is based a lot on Greek.
This was a good one. I love studying languages. The last word looked like another Greek word I've seen. Thanks for posting.
I didn't recognize the Greek, but I was thinking something along the lines of "lost in translation" or "not speaking my language"
Excellent puzzle. Probably very easy for anyone who recognized the words as Greek, but a great fun challenge for all the rest of us who didn't! Happily, the answer is such a well known phrase that it is still possible to figure it out.
Like "Snowdog" said; easy to figure out ?
