breathesunshine Feb 01, 2007	My brain didn't coordinate information too well. I got "between the lines" and thought of "reed" for cattail but for some reason it didn't make sense to put them together! Maybe it's time for a nap. Fun teaser.

A person who reads betwen the lines does so to understand the idea of the writer which may be unexpressed or obscure - another form of "High Plains Diplomacy." Thanks for your comments.

vlerma Feb 17, 2007	Yes jimbo a "cattail" is a reedy water plant that has a brown soft downy pod like attachment that rises up out of the water. They actually feel like a cat's tail when you run your fingers down them. But if you get them after they are ripened, you will have a real mess as they are seeds which will act very much like a dandelion puff. It does take a little more to ruffle a cattail than a dandelion, but I hope you get my drift.
