More ways to get Braingle...

Rodney's Take Too

In Cryptography teasers, a phrase or expressions has been encoded in some way (frequently by replacing letters with other letters). You need to figure out the encoding method and then decode the message to find the answer.

Here are a couple of quotes from Rodney Dangerfield. Can you decode them?

The same code is used for both puzzles.

P=X

"S YIXA TDOAZ KN CTFGAB SC FGSIED LABA VTZ ZHBSIE FGA ZAWBADDSYI. GA DTSZ FGA CSBDF DSP KYIFGD LABA VTZ, FGAI GA EYF HDAZ FY KA."

"KN LSCA TIZ S LABA GTWWN CYB FLAIFN NATBD. FGAI LA KAF."

Cryptography is not my favorite type of teaser, no patience to try and figure out so didn't even try. Loved the Rodney quotes though, he is a great entertainer.Thanks for posting.

Shouldn't it be take two (2), rather than take too (also)?

Hey, smarty ... how'd you do on this one?

I simply LOVE these things.

(For you math folks, when it is said P=X, that doesn't necessarily mean that X=P as well.)

Well I guessed that S=I, and with only one "P" in the whole blank thing (big help), _ix must be fix, mix, or six, So D=f, m, or s. Peaked at the hint and got a little further, but grew impatient and looked at the answer. I'm more of a math person, but I won't give up on crypto.
