Golden PearlsRiddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
This is an old Lithuanian riddle from 1300-1900 AD.
A young lady walked through the meadow
and scattered her golden pearls.
The Moon saw this, yet didn't tell her.
The Sun woke up and gathered the pearls.
