The Race

Max Mouse returned from the forest bike race after competing with a bear, a stork, and a frog. Max said the stork finished two places ahead of him, the bear was neither first nor last, and the stork was not second. From Max's clues, can you figure out which order they each finished in?
Answer
The stork won, followed by the bear, then Max, and the frog finished last.
