sure Ok

surely an outside wall, regardless of how many corners it has is still only one wall as it encircles a building. it is a continuous wall, not several seperate walls.

Well if that's the case, where does the saying 'inside these four walls' come in? Because it would only be one wall.

Of course houses have lots of walls and not one. This was interesting because I didn't know that the Pentagon ws composed of three concentric buildings. Thanks.

There are lots more than 50... Each side of the pentagon has 2 corridors, these 10 corridors each have 8 outside walls (facing the spaces between the "rings"), and they also intersect (and divide) the "rings" themselves, giving a total of 210 exterior walls, minus the closed-off partitions (you'll have to Google-Image search for that one )

There are only five outside walls.
No matter how many other buildings or walls are within the five outer walls of the outer building, they are all inside the outer pentagon which defines and encloses all other parts of the structure.
You could have fifteen twelve-sided buildings , a pyramid and a couple of geodesic domes inside the perimeter, the five walls on the outside are the five outside walls.
