Easy, but fun! The tense of "joking" doesn't quite agree with the tense of the answer, but it gets the point across.

I liked this one, everything just fell into place in my mind, so it seemed easy. I couldn't tell if that flag is NZ or AUS, (could't tell if it has the six stars for AUS or just 4 for NZ) but either way you only have to wait another four years for a chance at winning the rugby worldcup, but England or France will be in the final in a couple of weeks, hopefully England !

Fun teaser! As to "joking" and "banter" it doesn't have to involve a quiestion of tense. I would call them nouns as in "There was a lot of good-natured joking (banter) going on at the party."
