I haven't posted for while jazz...that doesn't mean I haven't been reading your work. That teaser was so hard, but so good too! Keep up the fantastic work!

It wont be long before you reach 400 by the looks of it!

jazzmusician46 - I've gone to working the ones you've created - they are fun. Did you have your class try them first?
Sep 25, 2007

Thanks Zonarita.
I did run few past my Masters students when I worked in China and they found some of them far too hard. But's that's ok.
Sep 26, 2007

Oct 23, 2007

Yep! Another Great Teaser from

It was just hard enough that I
couldn't get #3.

Keep sending more . I like these.
Oct 23, 2007

Man, that was harder than it should have been! I could not get #2 or #5.

Fun teaser!
Oct 23, 2007

I liked how this teaser stretched me to think of the varieties of ways words can be formed.
Oct 23, 2007

Oct 23, 2007

Oct 23, 2010

last one could also be runnir and nerice- which are a type of moths
Oct 23, 2010

Kasiecom, I have been unable to verify, through any of the resources available to me, including the OED, that "runnir" is a legitimate word in the English language. What is the source of your info that this "word" denotes a type of moth?
Oct 23, 2010

I think she meant "runner" and just made a typo--which I do quite often. And nerice is explained in wikipedia.
Oct 23, 2013

I like these and usually just breeze thru, but this one seemed a bit harder. Nice one though!
Oct 23, 2013

I missed two but had fun! Need to get the brain more engaged this morning!
Oct 23, 2013

@the above posts: Even if nerice is a word, NER is not a word. The three connecting letters are supposed to form a word as well. Good teaser! I got about half of them.
Oct 23, 2016

This was a toughie for me. I had to go away for a few minutes and come back to it......but I got it!!!! This was a good one!
Oct 23, 2016

Fun and entertaining teaser; I got all of the words but it took awhile to get them.
