Kasiecom, I have been unable to verify, through any of the resources available to me, including the OED, that "runnir" is a legitimate word in the English language. What is the source of your info that this "word" denotes a type of moth?

I think she meant "runner" and just made a typo--which I do quite often. And nerice is explained in wikipedia.

@the above posts: Even if nerice is a word, NER is not a word. The three connecting letters are supposed to form a word as well. Good teaser! I got about half of them.
