Can you decipher this?
fare is a food and a drink that are regularly consumed
so we can say that 'All is fare in love and war'
fare is pronounced in the same way as is fair,

|Fare, I think (based on the definitions I've read) is being stretched here. It usually refers to just food, or a meal, not specifically two things that go together like a burger and a Pepsi. Also, Mogmatt16 asked: "Where does the ALL come in?" Well?????? I only see "Fare in love and war" But regardless, after so many votes, I wonder how people considered this EASY. I certainly did not. I like the creativity here too!|

|Well, the only things present in this "love and war" are food items. I've seen drink included when "fare" is referred to. So, ALL that is in love and war is fare. I think this rebus took some work constructing, and I certainly didn't get it on my own, but I think it deserves a much higher rating. VERY creative! |
