It says when you're eating a watermelon, not when you cut one. You don't eat the green part to get to the red part which you eat, b/c then you'd be eating the whole thing!

Strawberry works too (without nitpicky comments, clue clue hint hint)

I thought it was kinda obvious, but it got approved, which is more than any of my teasers can do!

Quite a good one. But I thought that in cricket, for a third umpire's decision, when a red light is flashed, the batsman is supposed to make a move towards pavillion. When a green is flashed, he is supposed to stay back.

while i hate to be scrupulous , when you eat a watermelon, you have to get through the green before you get to the red, to get back to the green again.ie....cut the watermelon's shell open to get to the red, and when you are done with the red, you get backto the green.

My answer was "at a crosswalk." You cross on green and stop on red.

My first answer was "when you're car number 15 or more at a traffic light ... have you ever seen the light up ahead turn green, but you don't start moving until it's red again ... Then you don't stop until it has turned green?

What makes this Teaser entertaining is the fact that the Creator Makes most people Think in a Well Organized Pool of Suggestions. Red equal Stop in most societies and in most Traffic signalling, While Green means Yes, Go, Approval and so on. Now, Red and Green where food is concern makes the Teaser truly funny. However, as with the Logicians or Creators Common Concepts in society that require the Masses to Follow a Train of thought or Reasoning can actually STand the Test of Time, except in this senario, the creator of the Teaser would have Us to believe, is an Error: Green STILL means Go--> the cutting into the Watermelon to proceed to the Goodness of the Fruit. Red in this Senario Means not stop, but to proceed to the Sweetness of the Fruit. Societal Meaning for Red, Stop, wrong, negative, on the other hand, sweet, goodness, life's flow. Not Stop as you would have us to believe. But you are correct for the Color scheme of Red as it relates to one Subject area of Mass Thinking. I know. Don't bother yourself too much.
