Cheap Super Computer
There is a device that can add, subtract, multiply, divide, do any mathematical problem, write in any language, find out any universal problem, tell you any secret, and solve all human questions. It was invented quite a long time ago, is small enough to fit in your pocket, has a deleting device on it as standard equipment and only costs a few cents. How can a store sell such a magnificent device for a few cents without losing money? What is this great product and why hasn't the world used it for its maximum power?
Answer
It's a pencil.

That is actually, incorrect, because the pencil only writes down your thoughts, it doesn't do them for you.

Wow, the secret is now out for all those Mathematically challenged students and their teachers. We just start learning to use pencils!

This is a really clever idea for a teaser, and would have worked better if some of the "abilities" had been left out. A pencil CAN write in any language and be used to solve any equation, but the rest is sort of a stretch. Nevertheless, a good effort.

| I agree... Nice effort, good idea for a teaser, but to say a pencil can solve all of humankind's questions implies that people can solve all our questions, and we can't (though we try!).
Loved the "can write in any language..." and some of the other clues, though... they helped me get it.

That was good. I was thinking of a brain at first, but I guess you couldn't buy one for just a few cents
