He could have chosen Q and U if I'm not mistaken.
My guess was also Q, U. But I'm sure there are words with Q and without U. A great result, though .
there are many words starting with 'q' with no 'u' like qaid and qintar (so maybe there isn't alot) but none the less, it was a great teaser
My guess was X and Z the two least common letters.
But it says to chose TWO letters, which is different than the SAME letter TWICE.
Nice one! I was thinking, and then I suddenly went blank. And when I read the answer, I was like duh!
Keep em comin!
Keep em comin!
I love it!
i was thinking of Q and U too...
nice one
nice one
Ha! That's a good one! Got me.
I also thought it was Q and U, but then I thought about the country Qatar. Great teaser!
i don't gettit
Awesome teaser
loved the hint!!
i was thinking q & u too but then came up with several words with both
the answer was obvious when u read it though!

i don't get it either
i feel like a 4 year old...
Jsdodgers is right; the teaser says to "name any two letters", which denotes different letters.
very nice! I would've never guessed it
my ans. is Q & U... nice one..
Sorry, this one is wrong. The same letter twice is not two letters.
He could say Q and U but then if the first guy were an avid Scrabble player like myself He would then use the word qat.
qat -a shrub (Catha edulis) of the staff-tree family cultivated in the Middle East and Africa for its leaves and buds that are the source of a habituating stimulant when chewed or used as a tea;
Am I the only lover of Scrabble?

I was thinking q and u as well
I was thinking of B and E for some reason, as in 'Bee', which of course is also the sound of the lone letter B.
I too agree that the same letter twice is not 'two' letters. It's just one letter repeated.
Still, good teaser!

haha i actually got the answer right my first time but i thought,"that could NEVER be the answer!" hahaha that was a good one! nice trick!
thats right, he could have said Q and U
The answer of "Q" and "U" would be in the logic category or something
diz 1 waz preaty E=Z da hint did give it away good teaser thnx 4 da uploading i nvr relly had 2 think bout it dats y i nvr said Q and U..lol
and uactlly it said "name any 2 letters" itt didnt say it had 2 be differnt
There are several words with a Q but not a U. Qat, Qibla and Qi are just a few examples.
Name any two letters implies two different letters. The best answer is Q and U. There may be several words containing Q but not U, but Bob didn't know any of them.
Aww... I thought, Q,U...
All words I've found without a u following the q are either proper nouns or from a different language out of English. If it was specified that only it could only be in English and not a proper noun (as in the game Bananagrams) then "q and u" would be the best answer.
I got it right
I thought it was pretty easy
I thought it was pretty easy
my first thought was to use the same letter... bgut then i thought that it had to be two different letters
Yeah, Q and U seemed like the most reasonable answer.
I see a lot of Q and U's... but he could say Umbrella and skip using Q. Nothing said he would have to start with the first letter. In any case, I got this one... remember it's a trick one... but cute anyway!
oops... I guess it did say use the first one and not the second... my bad
Great teaser, I enjoyed it!
Lol, nice one, I didn't get it instantly. >w
i can think of a word that starts with double a
AAR
AAR
Doesn't Q and U work? Saying the same letter twice is good too.
I like this one =D
i didn't get the question.. i was thinking G && O.. i know its not correct because i didn't get the question!
One letter does not equal two letters.
Good one!
That was way 2 easy
good
i thot q an u
well actually there's many words that begin with "q" and don't have "u" in it
i love scrabble too
How many letters are in the word "letter"? 6!! Not 4. Just because some are repeated twice you still have to count them. Just like there are 3 letters in the word "bee". Just because "e" appears twice, it's still TWO LETTERS.
In this teaser, he says "name any two letters"...well, "e" and "e" are definitely two letters. It's a trick people. He didn't say two distinct letters and it's your dumb fault for implying...especially in THIS category. GOOD TEASER.

At last, someone justifies the answer! Well done, Zembo!
Mathematicians often say an equation has two solutions, but they're both the same! Which is about as clever as me saying I have two wives, but...

Sorry ... Zembobo!
QI does not have Q and U in it.
