There once was a beautiful princess. Her name was Anna. Anna had a lovely ring given to her by her mother, who was given it by HER mother, and so on. One day, Anna was lying in a boat, sailing across the lake at the bottom of her garden. She was very fond of letting her hand trickle behind in the water. On this particular day, she was doing the very same thing, when her ring slipped off, and sank to the bottom. She wept for days, ordering her servants to search the bottom, but they found nothing.

A month later, she was eating at a grand banquet to celebrate her 17th birthday. She picked up some fish and ate it. When she swallowed, she coughed. Then she choked. She was hacking away while her servants tried to get whatever was causing the trouble out.

AZTTT Sep 20, 2005	Or course it was a fish bone! We eat the "muscle" part of the fish. When fish are cleaned, the organs and intestinal track (where the ring would have been if it had been swallowed) are removed before cooking. Good one! I actually got it . who knew that all those fish I cleaned as a child would one day help me out in braingle

cascada Jun 21, 2008	techniccally, the wording "lake at the bottom of her garden" would make no sense, so obviously there is no lake, the princess is stupid, she dropped her ring on the ground, and the fish has nothing to do with it
