Come Fly With Me
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A family of four went on an aeroplane to Australia. Although all four of them went on the same plane, only three tickets were purchased. How come?
HintThe family consisted of two adults and two children.

Answer
One of the children was under two years of age, and didn't require a ticket. The child sat on their mother's knee for the duration of the flight.

| Good teaser, but too many possible answers. My thought was that one of the parents was the pilot. |
