Did you really expect others to figure this exact common saying? The clue sounds as though you had to give a description of a Type of Dog. Well, I am not one to spoil a party. Good Teaser, for an old saying. ***** stars.

You have the answer backwards. You have it as though a bad bite is a weak bite, but a bad bite is a strong bite.

Although the saying is obvious, I agree with Bart. It seems like you would be more damaged by his bite than his bark? Just needs a little fine tuning.

Yes, "worse", in the context of this phrase, means "stronger" - so Toto's bite is worse than his bark. I enjoyed this, though. Well done!
