too easy
Apr 29, 2010

Just right! Makes you work your brain a little, but easy enough to win them all, and all on just 2 cups of coffee. I like these behead and curtail word teasers. Thanks for making them.

Very hard for me this morning.
Apr 29, 2010

Easy one to start my day.

I do like these puzzles, but can we seriously turn it up a little? These are just too simple.
Apr 29, 2010

Took me a minute on #2...kept thinking "smack" and "Mack," like in the truck Great teaser!
Apr 29, 2010

Only #2 gave me pause, the rest were very easy. Still fun, but not much challenge.
Apr 29, 2013

I did not even try. I am tired of these. Just my opinion, but after a while it is boring.

I agree with those who find these "behead a word" teasers unchallenging, especially when the one letter to be removed is the same for all the words in the group. Let's have a mratorium on this type of puzzle, shall we? Unless of course the puzzles can be stiffened up a bit.

I agree they are easy, but If you don't like the "Teaser of the Day" then just find another you do like. I just checked, there are 16061 teasers currently on this site. And there are most likely 100+ that are awaiting approval. Even if you remove 52 to account for curtail and behead puzzles for each letter of the alphabet that still leaves over 16,500+ puzzles to choose from (including 20+ pf each series in which the letter is not given).

I am sure out of these you can find one of two you like. If not, why not write a few yourself for the rest of us to enjoy? You will soon find out it is harder than you may think.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to write a teaser that appeals to everyone it is either "too easy", "too hard", "boring" or any other number of complaints.

This site is supposed to be fun. I am sure we can all find something on here we like.

Count me as one who enjoys this kind of puzzle. Even if it is easy, sometimes "easy" is what I need at the moment! I look forward to more like this!

Habs, you said it beautifully, clearly and nicely! and I completely agree with you. With access to so many areas on the web, it's easy to find some other puzzles that you'll enjoy. I liked this puzzle but missed #2. Once I had vehicle = car I didn't think any further! Thanks for posting.
