Bob, Rich, Craig, George, and Brick were working in the art room with paints. Each boy had two paints, and they picked from red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. By accident, they bumped into each other, and their paint went flying. Luckily, the colors didn't mix, but they forgot whose was whose. They only had the following clues:
-George's first color was a secondary color.
-Only the kids with B's in their names picked the color yellow.
-Brick's first color with George's second color created Rich's first color.
-Those without I's in their name picked warm colors for their first color.
-The second color Craig chose is the same as Rich's first color.
-Both Rich's and George's colors are complementary.
-Brick's colors are both warm.
-No one chose the same color twice.
(Note: warm colors are red, orange and yellow, whereas cool colors are blue, green and purple. complementary colors are blue and orange, yellow and purple, and green and red.)

Nice puzzle. Thanks for explaining the complementary/warm vs cool colors. I would have had to look it up otherwise.
very cute!
the second to last clue messed me up a little. i thought one boy's color was complementary to the other boy's...
nice job

BrIck got 2 warm colors!
I kept coming up with Rich having blue. But that is a primary color and can't be created by mixing colors. Confusing.
I found this puzzle mega confusing, good story plot though
I did good on this one, . Nice job!
i got vicious violent violet
That was really fun, nice job~
Fun puzzle! I liked this. Not too hard or too easy.
I would have liked this clue (Both Rich's and George's colors are complementary.) to explain if they were complimentary to each other or to their own other color.

Very nice teaser! 10/10 Fun!
nice teaser. got thrown off by the complementary colors. thought it meant that the each boys colors complement each other. not that the 1st color complements the 2nd.
same here with the complementary colour-clue ... would be better to declare that more precisely.
also explicit hint that no boy has the same colour twice
also explicit hint that no boy has the same colour twice
Fun. Made me think
Excellent teaser! At first, with my total lack of artistic ability or knowledge, I thought "no chance!" but it proves the rule that the application of well structured logic can overcome ignorance.
Thanks for explaining the ground rules of colours, if you Google for an explanation, it can sometimes be contradictory.

With the confusion about the "complementary colours/colors clue:- if you look at the explanatory note, it is not just a list of 6 colours/colors, it is 3 pairs, and one element of one pair was purple, which wasn't an option, so I was able to exclude it's complementary colour.
Good Job! Don't really know what to write, this is my first comment
