Brain Teasers
Allison's Birthday
My dear friend Allison walked up to me and asked me what her birthday was.
"You forgot your own birthday?" I questioned her, with a puzzled look on my face.
"No," she said, "I mean I want you to remember it. You don't remember anything!"
"At least give me a hint," I pleaded.
Eventually she gave in. "First week of November."
Now, she and I are masters at logic. I myself knew it near instantly. Do you know what it is?

She never said it was always in the first week of November. She could've been meaning it's in the first week of November of that year.
@GreenApple27 I agree, and I think this question needs further rephrasing.
Well, this teaser would be a trick question and would be impossible to figure out if she was saying just this year. Thus, one must use logic to conclude a true answer. The first of any month is ALWAYS in the first week. And Allison and the main character are both masters at logic, so the main character would deduce the answer, knowing that it would be impossible to know from that clue only to find the answer.
My apologies! I didn't realize there was an error in the hint. Let me edit it...
But how do I do that?

love it.
Much thanks!
good one!
Thank you!
Nice one
How do you edit a teaser?
How do you edit a teaser?
For some, the idiom "The first week in...." might mean Sunday thru Saturday, for others it might mean days 1-7. Since an error has been identified (and I am not sure if it has been corrected), then I will not belabor the issue...
Thank you, I will be sure to keep that in mind while writing my next teaser. I don't actually know how to edit teasers, so any help would be appreciated. Much Thanks!

enjoyed it.nice thinking
Got it almost right away. Easy but fun.
I agree that 'first week of November' implies November 1st-7th.
I used a different logic to come up with March 12th: 'week of November' implies week 11 of the year, i.e. days 71-77. The first of those is day 71, or March 12th (except in leap years...)
Incidentally, my wedding anniversary is November 1st, and I've always found, simply, "first of November" is sufficient to remember it.

Got it straight away... after reading it twice. Love the teaser though
Thanks! It does have errors, but I suppose practice will make perfect.
