The Not-So-Miraculous Jump

Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.

Good teaser. I guessed something along those lines (prototype building) but still it's creative.

I liked this! I thought it was going to be something like "he jumped off the front step" - good twist!

Those are some tough Legos that a boy can climb to the fifth story.

I thought it was going to be like, he jumped off onto a scaffolding just 3 feet from the roof, or something. Then I read the hint, and became thoroughly lost. Good one!

I agree with doctapeppa, wouldn't the building have collapsed? Also, when I build a one-story building, it is like 8 inches high. The building would be two thirds of the boy's height, how did he get up there?

Could have jumped into water. Could have jumped off the top to a ledge on the level below. Could have jumped in place.

I thought this was a misplaced trick brainteaser until i read the hint. Good one!
