Down They Go!
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
Two workmen were repairing a roof. Suddenly, they both fell down the chimney and found themselves in the large fireplace.
One man`s face was smeared with soot and one wasn`t. The one with the clean face washed his and the dirty man did not and went back to work. Why?
HintNeither one said a word.

Answer
When the two men looked at each other, the clean man thought his face was dirty as well. The dirty man, looking at the first`s face, thought his was clean.

| They could have just touched their face and see if any soot is on their hand. Cool teaser, though. |

| This is an old teaser, but I love it! Shouldn't it be logic? Actually, never mind, situation works for me. |
