Where is God?
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous.
The two were always getting into trouble and their parents could be assured that if any mischief occurred in their town their two young sons were in some way involved. The parents were at their wits end as to what to do about their sons' behavior.
The mother had heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children in the past, so she asked her husband if he thought they should send the boys to speak with the clergyman.
The husband said, "We might as well. We need to do something before I really lose my temper!"
The clergyman agreed to speak with the boys, but asked to see them individually.
The 8 year old went to meet with him first. The clergyman sat the boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?"
The boy made no response, so the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone, "Where is God?"
Again the boy made no attempt to answer, so the clergyman raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy's face, "WHERE IS GOD?"
The questioning was successful, and the boys never did cause any more mischief.
How did it work?

How did it work?
Answer

I've heard that before as a joke...sorry but it doesn't really work as a brain teaser.
YEAH,I AGREE.IT SEEMS LIKE IT WAS A JOKE AND PLUS THE AMSWER WAS KIND OF DUMB. I THOUGHT THE CLERGYMAN WAS GOD.

I've heard that joke so I knew the answer, and does anybody else hate it when someone make a teaser out of a joke?
i heard this in a joke before...i hate it when this happenes...

Ok, I want to know why u need 2 b so rude I'm really mad.
I liked this teaser....Acually it has been in my favorites for quite a while.....I was just thinking about it and besided to read it again when I read some of the comments......I got to thinking of what people were posting on a couple of my teasers.....It does get kind of annoying when people say it is a bad teaser.....When you put so much efert into making it and then they tell you it is bad. Well anyways I liked it. Kudos
Yeah, I think that was a great joke, but a Teaser should really have ONE solid explanation or answer.
It will definitely go down as an opening joke if I'm ever speaking at a church function!

Haha! I actually heard this Sunday school.
Ok i don't think that counts as a puzzle. I don't think its a joke either just a clergyman destroying a persons childhood
sorry, it's a joke, not a teaser.
i know that's been said numerous times already, but strength in numbers doesn't hurt. however, it is a very funny joke, so kudos for copying it and sharing. but a teaser it just is not.

This is just so funny!
That is a great teaser! It was cute and funny!
I'm sorry but I'm with the other guys on this one. A teaser should test you to come up with a legitimate answer that could work, and only one possible solution too. Good as a joke though
This is an old joke. This is not a teaser. FAIL.
funny!!
