It's a variant of the Voltaire riddle. Number 4731 I think.......

I love this riddle, but I think credit should be given to the original creator: Tolkien.

It's good to come across this "timeless" riddle on any site - thanks for submitting it.

However, I think there should be a protocol for giving credit where it is due when anything is copied.
