Suraiya's Story
Trivia brain teasers have some element of trivia in them, but they are not just pure trivia questions.
There used to live a Muslim woman in a small town of India. Her name was Suraiya. She was blind, deaf and voiceless. This meant that she couldn't see, hear or talk. Her husband suddenly died through an accident. Now, she was needed to be told that her husband has died. How can this be done?
Answer
One would come to Suraiya and break the bangles that she would be wearing on her hands. In India, there is a ritual that when a Muslim woman becomes a widow, she breaks her bangles.

| Voiceless, aka mute. She wouldn't know braille, being from a small village. Maybe there could be an emergency slapping language. This language could have been established prior to the loss of the three communicative senses. For instance, one slap would mean there has been an emergency. She would then slap back once, meaning what happened. Then two slaps mean her husband is sick, three slaps means her husband is missing, four slaps her husband is dead, and so on... But, what if she had no hands! Whoa... |

| This wouldn't work if she had been all of these things from birth, as how would she know of this ritual. |
