Shoulda been a language but then again, some wet blankets reading language category woulda complained and said it should be trick. Only solution is to give everybody candy.

Anyway, great teaser!

K and D

K and E could also be a cute answer

Aug 06, 2010

Loved it, but didn't get it. Very clever.
craniacAus*
Aug 06, 2010

Sorry to be the odd man out, but I disagree. "C and Y" is not "just two letters" -- it's 5 letters plus two extraneous spaces, and it doesn't spell "candy." As long as those 2 spaces are there, it spells something that is pronounced (more or less) like "cee and wye."
antlerladyAus*
Aug 06, 2010

Cute one! some people are being a bit cranky here. Let's have fun!
gaylewolfAus*
Aug 06, 2010

Aug 06, 2010

I agree with craniac. I was going to say K-D wich IS only two letters.
wordmama*
Aug 06, 2010

I, too, am with crainiac!
racoonieboytus*
Aug 06, 2010

Well, here's the thing craniac... this is in the trick category. It's not in the language category. I think this is a nice teaser, so don't go ruining good teasers like this.

Aug 06, 2010

Yojtan, that "panda" thing is good! I'm going to use that one.
braniannd*jm*
Aug 06, 2010

Aug 06, 2013

Foul!!! I count 5 letters in that answer. Alternative trick answer: UD. The "U" is the shape of a can.
