fishhooky Jan 10, 2008	Maybe the wind works as an answer. In forests, the wind blows around leaves and could be desribed, thus, as leafy, and the same would be true of deserts and sand. And, of cause, you can't really see it. I reckon you would be able to see pretty easily a chameleon if it was in your hand.
Babe Jul 27, 2012	This is so wrong! It changes color. but is not leafy, nor is it sand. Of course you can easily see it in your hand as I have had one there many years ago when I was young and we wore them as you wear a broach nowdays on a teeny chain. Absolutely misleading teaser!

crazy10man Jul 27, 2012	This was clever. For some reason, I didn't take the clues literally. I tried to think of what can change its appearance that drastically. The first thing that came to mind was a chameleon.

GWeb64 Jul 27, 2012	"Leafy" means covered in leaves - or having many leaves, etc. - not the same color as leaves. The "like-sand" isn;t terrible , but... and chameleons are not difficult to see when in your easy to see when in hand.
Aminto Jul 27, 2012	I thought it was light! Light would shine through the trees in a 'leafy' fashion, look like sand in a desert, but not be that distinguishable on your hand.
