Strike for Less Money
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
This is a newspaper headline:
Workers Strike - Want to Make Less Money!
What is going on?
Answer
The workers work at the mint and are tired of being overworked. They want to work less, which is making less money, since money is made at the mint!

I don't know that this was a situation teaser, it's a bit easy for that. After all, a situation teaser is meant to be answered by a group of people asking a series of questions, eventually working out the answer. I think it would be more at home in Trick or maybe Logic.

i thought situation teasers mean that u have to figure out the situation when the conditions given can actually be true.

Easy but fun. I agree that it's not a situation puzzle. Maybe the editor responsible can move it.

Less money also means not as much overtime and hence less payroll.

I like it! I thought it was that the workers were willing to work for shorter hours so they want to make less money.
