Brain Teasers
Shot in a Bar
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation
A man walked into a bar and asked for a drink. The barman had not met the man before but without saying anything he pulled out a gun and shot him dead. Why?
Hint
This was not the man the barman intended to shoot.Answer
The barman's son had been murdered by the identical twin of the man he shot. The murderer had been acquitted because of a technicality, so the barman was taking revenge.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

I agree, with Andy of course.
I thought he had seen the guy on America's most wanted. Anyway andy i think the most polite way to tell someone their teaser wasn't good is to say so not dis them like that, but i guess when you dont have any home training it shows through
Unless there's something wrong with my computer, the powers that be have deleted my original comment, which I think is unfair as I didn't resort to any foul language. I think the fact that it is omitted will also confuse people when they read the other comments that have been made.
I saw your comment, now I don't. They must have taken it out.
i didn't see it... what did it say?
Or the barman was a psycho who always shot people wearing a purple tie with a yellow shirt.
at least it wasn't because of the hiccups.
He was Osama Bin Laden O_o
i know it's oh so nasty of me, but i can't help myself - the hint is wrong.
the barman did actually intend to shoot the man that he shot....it was just that he mistook the person at whom he was shooting for someone else.
when i read the hint i thought that the bartender was an incredibly bad shot and had meant to shoot another guy, but missed
