Never heard of it....
I got all roads lead to parts of rome....
Road 1 --> Rome
Road 2 --> Rome
Road 3 --> Rome
Road 4 --> Rome
Road 5 --> Rome
Road 6 --> Rome
Road 7 --> Rome
Road 8 --> Rome

No... really I didn't. Honest. I'd prefer it that you didn't make the answer absolutely completely obvious in the comments for the teaser. My construction works fine.
I just copied it from a recent rebus I saw a couple of days ago....
What i'm saying is it's been done...
and in my opinion the other one is better and clearer.
Oh and the roads actually lead to rome, not to parts of rome.
That's all I'm saying.

Thanks for your opinion. I really do enjoy discussion on my teasers and often am happy to admit that I agree with someone's opinion. In this case I don't, but still enjoy discussing it. I'm not sure where you saw your recent rebus version of mine but mine was written over three years ago - approx I think - and completely came out of my head so yes it's 'been done' but are you completely sure which was 'done' first . A rebus is not meant to be a completely clear absolute road map to the answer. It can be, but doesn't have to be. It can also lead you somewhere close to the answer where some mental gymnastics are required to make the final leap (from the vault to the ground, if you will ). The construction I have used here does exactly that despite how you prefer the construction to be. Again, thanks for your thoughts :-)
