That's pretty good! Well done.
Excellent!
I liked them all, just wish I had guessed closer to the right answers. Thanks.
Good teaser but I'm not sure the first answer makes much sense. How do you get mite, might for tiny spider?
Nice one. I enjoyed it.
A mite is a small arachnid, relating them to spiders. For anyone who "mite" have been confused by that answer.

Love it!
To quote everybodys favorite evil old man from the Simpsons "Excellent." I thought it was quite clever considerining I didn't get a single one right.
Correcting my own spelling from above.

i loved it!
Very good! I got the last one but I was clueless on the rest. This was very challenging. Well done!
I got the first and last one...but the others i had no idea. Very good!! Keep it up!!
I couldn't get 3 & 4.
HARD!! GOOD!!
Very funny! I really enjoyed this one.
Very funny! I really enjoyed this one.
Good one!
Yeah, right
Don't think #3 is technically a homonym since they aren't pronounced the same. I was able to figure it out though, which is more than I can say for #4...
this is really clever
Thanks--I love word puzzles!
haha very funny
Last one was kind of cheap... but fun!
Very good, I only got the odd numbers.
Relatively easy. Took me all of 20 seconds to get all of them.
Easy but fun. Did have to think a bit for #'s 3, 4, & 5. Thanks for posting.
I have to agree that #3 is not a homonym, but I had fun anyway.
In my part of the country, seer and sear are not pronounced exactly the same. But I got it anyway. Good teaser, it was fun to do. Easy, but fun.
got them all wrong. Couldn't think of 1-4 and I thought 5 was nose and knows!
These are homophones, not homonyms.
Good teaser. I didn't know that about mites. I couldn't imagine a tiny spider. I didn't get all of them, but I got enough to have a good time.
Thanks!
Thanks!
some one else mentioned it, but I have to say... 3 is not homonyms. Seer is multisyllabic and sear is mono. To be a true homonym, it is two words which are spelled differently but pronounced the same.
"Pale" is NOT a synonym for "light". It means colorless, or lacking light (dim). Also, the person who suggested that these are not homonyms because they do not all have the same number of syllables is wrong. They are not homonyms because they are not spelled the same way. Other than that, this was a great teaser! =)
That was ok...
Seer and Sear aren't pronounced the same where I come from...
I was going to say that SEER and SEAR are not pronounced the same, but I see I was beaten to it!
Fun teaser!
Fun teaser!
Just to say, those aren't homonyms. They're homoPHONES! That's why I corrected it.
Another great repeat. How nice to be an editor and take 325 days off every year.
seer and sear was stretching it as they are not pronounced the same.
Challenging, I liked it.
Clever and fun. Nice one
Easy one to start the weekend.
3/4 I was absolutely clueless when it came to #3
wasn't expanding my thoughts enough to get 3 & 4 but glad to have the first 2 down!
Sharpen up, folks, you are in the presence of greatness.
Bobbrt was one of the finest and most creative Brainglers of all-time and he and my father (the original BadBunnee) were good friends.
Too bad neither of them will ever be here again.
BUTTTTT .... their legacy shall live on.
What, for example is the term for two words spelt alike, pronounced alike, but with totally different meanings?
Example "bee".
Bee ; insect
Bee ; party or contest devoted to one item or subject, e.g. "spelling bee".
If you know the answer, so "register" below so you will be at the top of the queue for the revelation of the correct answer. But DO NOT reveal the answer.
Answer will be given here tomorrow and if anybody wins it they will be automatically inducted into the LEB.

Good teaser! Only thing is, "not sure if I will or not" is not a proper clue for "might."
"Not sure if I will or not" would be a clue for a word like "undecided."
A clue for "might" (in that sense of the word) would have to be something like "has a chance to" or "could possibly."

Also I know the answer to your question, BB02.
No,BadBunnee02, "spit," to expectorate, and "spit," land jutting into a body of water, are, technically, homographs, words that are spelled the same but that have different meanings. But another example of true homophones would be "strait," a narrow body of water, and "straight," having no curves, bends, or kinks.
"No", what? ... Lwicz???
Have you a reading problem?
You answered the question correctly - with an interesting exception I will note later - and then proceeded to ignore my request to remain silent with the answer until the contest was over.
I am not quailing just for my own benefit here, but mostly because you have just disqualified yourself from the cherished prize by revealing the answer sans the rule.
eighessee (spelt ... whatever) may have you "beat to the punch" and (upon investigation and verification) may have won even without benefit of your calculus.
Will announce later.

To Lukasiwicz, What kind of work do you do? You always seem to know so much about everything that it impresses me. You have been kind enough to explain things to me also. Thank you.
As for this teaser, I really liked it, but it took a little time to figure out the meanings to the clues. Everyone has different interpretations of things, but I got them. Nice one

Only got 2 this time. I didn't spend enough time with this one! Good ones, though!
Delighted to see this one returning to the attention of Brainglers.
My posts had been redacted (look it up) by Braingle because I got lots of them nasteeeeeeeeeeee karmas due to my overzealous campaign to get more participation in new teasers.
Welcome back !!! (to me as well as you)

A very fun and enjoyable teaser; Very challenging - got 3 out of 4. I could not get pale and pail.
I liked this one, had a problem with #3,as did others I see, same thing regarding pale.
Babe, I am a retired clinical psychologist, about 12 years your junior, who hopes that the advancing years do not rob me of my ability to indulge my rather broad interests my involvement in which have fostered my accumulating a lot of trivial info, as you yourself seem to have done. May we both live long and prosper.
I too, got hung up on #3, because of the varied meanings of the word "light" (illumination? lacking avoirdupois? more pallid in tone?) Eventually I got it, though. Might have been easier had the puzzle-maker used the word "bucket" in place of the word "container".
I'm with Gaylewolfe on this one.
