Nowhere To Run
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A brother tied his sister's best friend to a set of train tracks. Soon after, the train came and hit his sister's best friend. However, her best friend wasn't hurt at all! How can this be?
Hint1. There is only one set of train tracks.
2. The train maintained the same speed.

Answer
His sister's best friend is a doll. Her brother had a model train set and tied the doll to the tracks.

| Darn creepy brother!
I think his parents should be enlisting some professional help, before it's too late! |

| I thought it was the mistake that was made saying "His sister's best friend" and "Her sister's best friend", but this works too |

| I guessed that it was a toy train set, then even a real human wouldn't be hurt at all. Like in the movie, "Night at the Museum" when the cowboy minatures tie up the night watchman... |

| unklemyke, you don't know how old that kid is ...little kids usually find best friends in inanimate objects until they're old enough to go to school and meet real people...
anyway, great teaser! |

| Stop judging the hypothetical children!
Anyway, I blame the parents.
Hypothetically. |
