#19
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
For most, I am made going left first then right.
Right-and-then-left's an unusual sight.
I'm used at the end when there isn't enough,
Sometimes I'm used to show other people's stuff.
HintYou're thinking too hard! I'm common as can be!
In this teaser, you can find seventeen of me.

Answer
The letter s.
Most people write an s from the top down, curving on the left first and then the right, though some do it the other way. S is used for many plural nouns and can also be used with an apostrophe to show possession (Clayton's).
The title refers to s's location in the English alphabet - the 19th letter.

| I thought it was quotation marks. They go first on the left of peoples "stuff" (things they say) and then the right. Still, good teaser. |
