Mr. Burns Dinner Party
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
The Simpson family went to Mr. Burns' dinner party. At the party, Lisa's favorite dessert was served. Lisa was about to eat it when all of a sudden she purposefully spilled salt all over her dessert. Why did Lisa do this?
HintSomeone did something to it.

Answer
When Mr. Burns was giving Lisa her dessert, he sneezed on it. Instead of saying "Yuck, I don't want this!" and hurt his feelings, she spilled salt on it so she could get another one without hurting his feelings.

| Mr Burns would never invite hte Simpsons to a dinner party - he's a stingy old git. Also, I can't see him sneezing in someones food. |

| Actually Mr. Burns did invite the Simpsons to dinner. But it was so he could eat them since he was a vampire and it was a halloween special...but still he did invite them. |

| Fun teaser, but where the heck were the editors on this one? They needed to help out with the spelling big time. |

| This Mr. Burns should have known better than to sneeze right on someone's food. And it also seems that the Simspsons family knows Mr. Burns. When he realised what he did, he should have said sorry and got another one. It's really impolite for Mr. Burns to just give Lisa the food he sneezed all over it. It looks like if Lisa didn't react, he wouldn't have got another one for her. |

| there is really no way anyone could have "known" the answer . it could have been anything . one would have to ransomly guess to get this. therefore , making any random guess a "correct"answer .
i don't like this at all |

| If I sneezed on someone's dessert, I would offer to get them a new one instead of just handing it to them. |

| I thought of a simpler solution: the dessert was watermelon, which many people eat with salt. |

| Love The Simpsons, but this teaser could of been better. In reality of The Simpsons, Mr. Burns wouldn`t care [both sneezing in her dessert AND/OR giving her a new one. Meh, what do I know lol 3/5 |
