A boy was trying to make his sister believe that he could talk to their cat. One day, he walked into the bathroom and said "Meow!" as if he was calling the cat. Then he walked out, opened the door outside, and the cat walked in. He neither saw the cat nor heard her meow.
But his sister knew how he knew the cat was there. How did he know?

He heard the cat's bell from a window in the bathroom.
