I wasn't thinking body part till you mentioned it. LOL eeewwww! Still another great teaser w/ NO neg comments -----BRAVO-----
Thanks 4 ur comments. I totally forgot who I heard it from. But I know I didn't get it the 1st time either. So I understan ya'll
I figured the answer to be a fraction less than one. The larger the denominator the larger the value of the inverse.
I didn't get that one
I liked that one...good job!
Good idea, but you havwe more than one answer. For example: IX upside down XI
good one....very clever
Missed it, very good
Maybe I don't get it, but what body part could everyone be thinking of? Maybe I'm just too innocent, perhaps?
yeah, i don't get the body part thing either... ???
Too easy. Got it in a flash
Good teaser! I would have not thought about that. I was thinking of an object.
great job really enjoyed this teaser (i wasnt thinking about the body part either till i read the hint....gross )
By body part I meant that everyone says head, finger, leg, foot, etc. Its not what most of you people think. Its not nasty. Sorry if that part confused u.
Wow! that one really had me stumped!
good one
good one
very clever
Very clever answer. I drew a blank. I couldn't think of an answer.
I was thinking in the same vein, 18 was my answer, which becomes 81 upside down.
I had an unfair advantage on this one my sons teacher gave them this as a challenge in the beginning of the school year. She gave everyone a prize who came up with a correct answer. 6 and 9 are the simpliest.
got it straight away, but cool teaser!
One word, CLEVER! Thanks.
nice work..my answer was an hourglass
bring out the gray matter
I didn't understand the bodypart hint either. But speaking of body parts you seemed to have turned a lot of frowns upside down this morning, good job.
great teaser I even had my co-workers trying to figure it out and none of us got it lol
This is a great one, I really liked it!
nice one
CUTE! I'm remember this one for when I teach next....
Duh?? I thought it was an Umbrella!! Very good--I loved it!
Like Marseekay, umbrella was the first thing that came to my mind...and the ONLY thing. Good one!
Great teaser lol for some odd reaason i thought of an object, person oor snowman
Question_Mark...have you read the teaser called Sherlock Holmes?
I agree with beenice... how can your head and finger and leg be bigger upside down?
Classic. I like my teasers like I seem to like my women. Short and difficult.
My answer was "A fraction", like 1/2. If you turn it upside down, its 2/1, which is "bigger".
I think by body-part, someone is referring to the male genitalia. If its upside-down, its got to be bigger, eh?
That's great, except there are way too many possibilities for the answer, so I didn't really like this one.
Wow! I reall liked this one! Very clever!!!
Hehe, that was a cute one.
lol good one! I was also thinking a hourglass! oops
This Teaser is one of the coolest teasers i have read. I have FINALLY gotten 10 teaser right thanks to this one the only thing that i didn't like was that the hint didn't really help out for those that needed it but yea i liked the teaser keep them going!
Shouldn't this be in the "trick" category?
Either way, great teaser! (Has anybody noticed that I might as well be one of the few teenagers in the USA that actually spell correctly?)

Trickster--you spelled "trick" wrong. Just kidding!
Great teaser, Creamy! It'll be on my favorites list!

I liked this teaser, but please not so many faces, I could not find the add comment button, (way on the right of my screen). Thanks
SURE I GUESS IT WAS FUNNY. I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE THOUGH SO I GUESS ITS AN OLD ONE FOR ME SO MAYBE THATS WHY I DONT THINK ITS THAT FUNNY. BYE!
nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was cool. I was stumped.
This was a very good one! I really liked how simple this teaser was laid out it and with an awesome answer! Good teaser!
Well Done I thought of letters first, got to g, then got the answer.
Good one. but i didnt figure it out...
I was thinking of an object like a cup or something (though those don't get bigger )

Sorry, I think this was a joke, not a riddle. Waaaay to many possibilities, and the number 6 did not come to mind when I went over the possibles in my head.
Wrong!!!!! Nine is not bigger than six. It is a larger quanity numerically.Turning it upside does not increase its size, which is the definition of the word bigger.
Good one!
lol...nice
Doehead, if you want to be technical, the problem is that turning a number upside-down doesn't actually mean anything. You can turn our representations of numbers upside down, but not the numbers themselves. There is nothing wrong with saying that 9 is bigger than 6, but there is something wrong with saying that "9" is bigger than "6". The teaser would therefore be written as "A concept is represented in writing, and this representation is turned upside-down. The upside-down representation represents another concept that is bigger than the original concept. What is the original concept?" But that's so trivially technical, and just sounds stupid.
This is a good, but easy, teaser. Nice.

Was this same teaser TotD the same date in 2005? Look at all the comments.
I cant' believe this. I agree with Doehead. I think what you mean
is 9 cannot be physically "bigger"
than 6, but it can be numerically
GREATER THAN 6. Is that it.
Phew , hard to type
Funny teaser tho & I won't go where I was thinking either.

I didn't figure it out, but it was a good teaser. Thankt!
I tried i/!, but that didn't work, so I had to try something else...and hit upon it quickly.
That hint made no sense, though.

We're back to that 6 again. If you believe that it is grammatically correct, than the same concept would apply to the number 2. I still say it is wrong!!!
I got 6.
I agree with the fractions response also.
2 works also also. Depending how you form the number 2 it will become the number 5.
A puffer fish also works.

Way to many possible answers if we follow the author's train of thought.
I don't like this riddle. According to this logic, it could be a lot of numbers, 69, 609, 689, 6009, 6889, with n number of 8s or 0s in between a 6 and a 9. Personally, I think this is a bad riddle.
I thought valley
Oh my gosh people!! Enjoy the teaser! So what if there are many other answers? This one was a good one.
Thanks for posting. Some of us enjoyed it!!

.01, .08, .06, .09, etc...
This made me smile.
The answer is: ɹǝƃƃᴉq
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser. I got it very quickly.
