Two Letters!
Language brain teasers are those that involve the English language. You need to think about and manipulate words and letters.

| Nice teaser, I went through about 403,212 words of my vocabulary before I just had to peek at the answer. It was like: 'Of' Nope. 'Off' Nope. and so on... |

| Hummm, a real thinker...the a.m. shift might need that extra cup of joe for this one. And there no failure or discredit for missing this one. It's may seem simple but... A Good One. |

| I no get it! I mean, I get it, but I didnt GET the answer.
I went through the vowels, becoz there would have to be a vowel, with every letter, "ababab, acacac, cacaca, dada, addad", but, deeded just didn't occur to me when I did the "eb, ec, eded, efeef", altho, at the end, I did kinda start to think that there would probably be a double vowel, which would narrow it down to "ee, oo", but, for all my wonderful organized thinking, I still didn't GET IT! And, like the other person here, I don't think I ever would have guessed it unless I wrote every possible combination down. Then maybe after 2000 combination, maybe, maybe...
Thanks for the great teaser! |

| Does the fact that I wasn't even sure "deeded" was a real word mean that I have to relinquish my Braingle membership? |

| This is a very outstanding teaser, although I came up with the answer right away My mind was in gear, this morning. This does get you to test ALL possibilities. Thank you, Brain! |

| I wasn't even sure "deeded" was a real word either, so I looked it up. It does not exist in the Oxford Dictionary © 1998, but it is in the American Heritage Dictionary © 1978. |

| That's why she's the Brainster.
Made me feel dumb since I am a licensed assessor - should know something about deeds. Like the old assessor's joke - how high is an awning? Give up? It's just a shade above the ground. Thanks Brainster, keep them coming. |

| Great teaser! Though the use of the word 'deeded' is uncommon in my country, I could still get it after some effort. I WAS excited! Thanks . Would like to see more such teasers! |

| I was just too curious about the answer to keep looking for it myself. I'm glad I gave up quickly .... it could've potentially bothered me all day, but instead I get to move on to another teaser before my coffee is finished.
Good morning! |

| Thanks for the comments all! The only way I could think of proving this leftclick, was to use an online anagram solver. It didn't give me any other option except the word "deeded"! |

| Very good!
I kept thinking of words with repeated letters, but there was always a THIRD letter lurking in there! I just couldn't come up with only two different letters! I kept thinking of Mississippi, banana, rococo, Bimini until I just got lost in all the letters. Never even thought of a word with "e's" - That is really bad - with all the "e's" in words!
