And what on earth is "lurry"? |

| Much tougher than it looks. I didn't even get the last 3: cucumber, radish and pepper, let alone the bonus words.
Good job putting these together. |

| Javian, kudos; I enjoyed this teaser. I'm afraid your bonus items detracted rather than added to the quality of the puzzle: never heard of 'lurry', gar and lick I don't know in connection with your definitions, and not age is an AWFUL stretch for onion!
But the top 10 were Great! I got 9/10, all but #1, didn't love shift for budge but got cabbage just from taxi. Otherwise, those were SUPER!
Lastly, to one of the commenters, where is romaine 'cos'? (intellectual curosity!)
I guess that was not last;this is: IMMURRAY, why are you on this site if you don't get enjoyment from it??!! |

| LMurray, you have to be able to create your own magic, fun or entertainment. If you can NOT find, make or create any joy for yourself or of seeing someone create a remedy, for a diaster, etc. then DO NOT worry about ever finding out *WHY* others can feel an enjoyment for anything. A super fun teaser! Very good! Keep up the good work. |

| I loved this one Clever and inventive... and the title implies 'stretches'. Didn't get #8 and missed all three in bonus round...but smiled the whole time. |

| I really liked this one. Don't pay any attention to Imurray, he is only one person who doesn't like anything anyone submits, yet he doesn't submit any of his own. Great teaser, good fun. |

| Very challenging; I had a lot of fun trying to figure out all of the possibilities in a salad and then finding the correct synonym to your clues. Great Job on Your creatitivity; I agree the bonus ones were not really great and took away from the great initial ones. Thanks for the challenge! I enjoyed it a lot! |

| Yayyyy I got one of the bonus ones! I somehow thought of "not age" as "un young" and that got me the correct answer, if not by the expected reasoning. "eon" was wayyy better!!
Good thing the "gar" one was bonus, and not part of the actual teaser; Apparantly "gar" is a nearly obsolete Scottish word, which makes it a little unfair to 99.9% of the world. I don't have anything to say about "lurry", because I found it in dictionary.com, but it didn't come up at thesaurus.com as having any synonyms....
I had a lot of fun with this, though, so much so that I came back to it a second time to finish up. I got all but 3 and 8 of the main ones, + one bonus, so I'm calling my score 90% (8/10 + 1 bonus). Congratz to me, but even more so, congratz to Javian for making such an interesting and fun teaser! |

| Did I miss something on #7? Where is the hint relating to "key"?
animal park - zoo
crucial leg joint - knee
(now I see the "K" in knee - is that it?)
Bottom line - I love these puzzles!
Thanks!! |
gaylewolf

| PS I think 1-10 were good
Bonus 3 weren't necessary! |

| gaylewolf-
"crucial leg joint" crucial = key and leg joint = knee thus zoo-key-knee |

| I got most of them when I figured out what I was supposed to do.
I rather like imurray. He knows how to push buttons and enjoys getting a rise out of everyone. I don't think he is really a mean person. He is just having fun getting people to respond to his comments, and everyone keeps falling for it by responding. Clever! He is laughing heartily! Good quiz by the way! |
