the first one with having holes... there are alot of notebooks that dont have holes ... maybe you should say looseleaf or something ... non the less this one was fun

That was really fun i didn't solve all of them but still, it was a good one. Keep up the good work !
this was fun!
that was soooo fun! this one is going into my favorites! loved it!
Relatively easy, and fun.
Yeah none of my notebooks have holes.. then again none of them are spiral bound.
I had to look up granola.. I was thinking what IS that.. turns out it's muesli. Got to love that cross cultural thing.

This was fun. Nice job! I looked at the first one and thought, hummm, holes, but not all notebooks have holes in them, but some do, so it must be holes. And then I was on a roll. Kind of like the old story of M R PIGS. M R N PIGS, O S A R! O I C M R PIGS!!! Enjoyed these so may we have more please?
Very fun and Very easy.
Thats the way I like it!
Thats the way I like it!
HEN RONGYI!!!! (VERY EASY)
I agree with everyone, got them staight away (must be easy as I'm not very good!) but fun
EXCELLENT!!!! lOVED IT....
Easy is to the eye (and tongue in Braingle case) of the beholder. It's not a Western culture, native English speaking world out there. Global think, global act.
Fun teaser, nice job.
Fun teaser, nice job.
This was easy for me. I got them all.Fun teaser.
nice, but easy
Nice teaser, easy and fun!
Got four out of five. Good job. It was a team effort in art class even though i'm supposed to be working on my project right now! Great and creative
Good teaser. I agree that maybe a spiral notebook should have been used, but fun nonetheless.
Super easy but fun!!!!
I only got the first three right... #4 and #5 stumped me. But I like this kind of teaser! I give this one four stars! ****
Nice easy teaser............
Clever, different, fun!!
tres facile (very easy), but very FUN!!
That was really cool! Thanks for the great teaser!
I agree, easy but fun. Thank you.
Cute! I liked it a lot! I didn't get the drops one, though. Grr.
Teasers like this often have more than one "right" answer. For example, in #1, all are compound words (dough/nut, note/book golf/course). And in #2, all are 6-letter words with 2 syllables. What's to say that the "right" answer is better than these other answers?
That's why I generally don't find these teasers particularly fun.

Super duper easy but enjoyed it all the same. Thanks for the tease.
I got the first two. I really liked the teaser. Thank you!
very very clever..... ...i got the first two....fun teaser
very good this one was fun and semi easy I got three of them
I got all except #4. My guess was that they were all words that could be used as either a verb or a noun.
Maybe I'm lazy, but I like easy ones! Good job!

once i figured out the first one the others were kinda easy until the last one. then i fell on my face
Fun teaser but I had no idea about granola, but four out of five is good.
This was good, but I didn't get the last two. I wasn't thinking "cough drop" ...I was just thinking of a cough. And I didn't get the other one because candy doesn't necessarily have to come in a bar to be considered candy.
But still, I really liked it!
But still, I really liked it!
I didt get it till i looked at the answers!!!!!
It was fun to do but, pretty easy.
very easy, but fun nonetheless.
Very easy, not much teasing here, but it was still fun.
Really easy, but OK nonetheless.
Fun, I like giving myself a sense of satisfaction rather than a head ache keep up the good work
Very easy but still fun!
i only got 1 of them to but it was fun.
kinda easy, but really fun!!!!!!!

PS: awsum, u'r from the philippines... me, 2...
nice one... I got all of them
I didn't get it until I read the answer!!! I was thinking of ways that they related grammatically...good one though...(even if I didn't get it)!!!
Got the other three except 3 and 5. Nice fun.
loved it, my grandson told me the answers. is that cheating?
This one was fun. I missed one. The one about drops I was thinking noise? don't know why.
This was one I could get. I think it was fairly easy .... But fun thanks
I really liked this one!
I liked this alot. Couldn't think of group #1 though. Keep submitting, i want more!!!
I am displeased. I immediately saw donut hole, and thought it might relate to golf course but not notebook. Then I looked at 2 and drew a blank. Then I looked at 3 and said "words that precede bear". I looked at 4 and said "words that precede drop". I looked at 5 and said "words that precede bar". I looked back at 2 and said "words that precede shell".
Then I looked back at 1. "Donut hole" is good. "Golf course hole" isn't an idomatic formulation, but it's close enough. But "notebook hole"? What is a notebook hole? The domain notebookhole dot com is still avaialble to anyone who wants to cash in on the hot new topic I haven't heard anything about.

How about "Three hole notebook"?
Too easy!!
That was pretty easy... I even was able to do this after having 5 shots and 3 beers... woo!
EASY EASY EASY!!!
I enjoyed it. It was easy for me but sometimes that is a good thing. Makes me feel good that I didn't need any help or anything. Hope you send more of these types.
Ahhhh !!! An easy one for the waking mind !!! LOL
Everyone except #4...
ever notice that when a teaser is easy you get great comments?well this teaser was a little to easy a six year pld could of got it...
kid not pid
Really easy, but still fun. An easy one early in the morning can be nice
2nd grade level at besT
Nuts to the naysayers! This was fun and required just the right level of skill.
I've never heard of a Kodiak bear, so I read it as "Kodak", the camera company...
Super easy.
kept thinking "dish" for soap, granola, candy.
Too easy, and I agree about the notebook...
That was a lot of fun
Good one
#4 almost stumped me.
Good job
Good one
#4 almost stumped me.
Good job
Pretty good teaser... Got it immediately. Actually, the whole notebook thing didn't even catch my attention. I guess when you're using notebooks EVERY day in class...
Fun, fun, fun ! That one was really cute. I can't wait to try it on the grand-kids.
Easy but really fun!! It's kind of nice to have an easy one every once in a while. All the tesers on this site don't need to be super hard so only lmurray or doehead can figure them out..
Anyway, you did a great job!! More please!
Anyway, you did a great job!! More please!
I liked it ,but for # 4 I put things that cause moisture. what was I thinking ?
Fun but very easy. It was entertaining just seeing how they group the items together for this.
As has been said many time already, fun and easy! I got them all without straining my brain!
human can fit in the first group!!!!!
Fun And easy Good job Really enjoyed it.(thanks)
This brainteaser was kiinda easy, but lots of fun Thanks!
Cute
Fun, got them all right away
great fun teaser am waiting for more from you. on #4, I put wet because candy getswet once it's in your mouth. next time i'll listen to my grand son!!!!!!! keep them coming pleeeeeeeese.
I mean the teasers not the grandsons
Fun! Didn't get the last one though.
these are easy for me so, of course, I like them.
Cute. Straightforward. Crazy that some people didn't think this made a good teaser, but to each their own I guess.
I couldnt get this one
I liked this one - thanks!
Extremely easy, but fun for the 10 seconds they took to get!!
Another old and extra easy repeat.
I thought number 4 was cameras(?,polaroid,Kodak). But that didn't make much sense. As for #4 I think a better answer is that they all can be used as nouns or verbs.
doehead--do you realize how many of your comments are "repeats"?
Easy but fun! Thanks!
quick and easy though i thought camera types with a typo..hehe. then a thought for a minute - this is too old to be a typo.. kodiak must be a bear type.. aha.. thanks for the lesson in bear types.
that was easy but F-U-N!!!
I did not get them all, but it was still fun. I like these.
These are all from the board game "Tri-Bond". I do have to agree with an above commenter above who said while they may be easy for a native English speaking Westerner, not everyone on this site fits that limited definition. Even being one, as a Canadian vs an Ammerican I sometimes don't know some of what is obvious to those south of my border. Were it not for the fact I have American friends I would not have known what a "candy bar" was. We call them Chocolate Bars (as they are made of chocolate).
As I have always enjoyed he board game Tri-Bond I like these puzzles but enjoy the added challenge of having three sets of groupings all of whose answers then from a final tri-bond.
And for those with Smart or Super phones that like the game.... there's an app for that! (AT least at the Play Store)

I loved this one - really didn't remember that it was a repeat - but I saw I had commented previously.
Thanks, anyway, for posting!

There are a lot of grumpy people on this site and some who tell us how smart they are compared to the rest of us, that I wonder why they even bother to come on the site. Sayin it is at second grade level is crude, rude, insulting, and ignorant. All in my opinion. It is all in fun and there is not a reason to be negative about everything.
I forgot to say that I agree with Habs.
Am I the only one here that thinks the instruction was unclear? I actually thought that the answer asked was what was common on those group of three(as a whole and not each group)
This makes me want to play Tri-Bond again. If only I could find it...
With all the teasers out there, there should be a difficulty rating threshold for it to be chosen as Teaser of the Day multiple times. This was way too easy.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got all of these very quickly.
I found they also have a few other things in common; grammar, syllables, prefixes, suffixes, etc.?
pretty easy, but still fun!
