I'm made of wood, but I'm not a tree. I'm used specifically to throw things; but of course, I'm mainly used to find food, although I can be used to fight my foes.

It is made of wood and is used as a spear thrower, but has a sharp flake of stone attached to the end onto which the spear is attached. It can be used as a hunting tool, or else in war with neighbouring tribes. The "stone and wood" the woomera throws is, of course, the spear.
